GST on a dental bill
Healthcare services by a clinical establishment are exempt from GST, so dental treatment is billed at 0%. Medicines and products sold from the clinic's pharmacy are goods and carry GST at their own rates. A single visit often has both.
ORALZY applies the exemption to treatment lines and the correct rate to pharmacy lines, so one bill is right on both counts. Ask your CA to confirm the rates for your products.
Billing at the counter
- Big counter UPI QR, so the patient pays from their phone.
- Part payment: "how much was paid today?" — the balance stays on the patient's account.
- Advance and registration fee, each landing on the right bill.
- One QR that settles treatment and pharmacy dues separately.
- Multiple treatments marked done together become one consolidated bill.
- Bill sent to the patient as a PDF on WhatsApp.
For your CA
- GSTR-1 JSON ready to upload on the GST portal, and a 3B worksheet.
- Patient-wise GST report with period filters, exported to Excel.
- A CA login by OTP, with read-only access to GST, bank matching, TDS and expenses.
- Filing reminders.
Money that adds up
The "Money Truth" view shows what was billed against what was actually collected, and any number opens the transactions behind it. A day-end closure and digest flag what was left undone before the clinic shuts.
Government-scheme work such as RGHS is billed to a separate scheme account with its own rate card, so it never mixes with patient dues.
Billing is one part of ORALZY's dental clinic software.
