The problem with X-rays in most clinics
The sensor software runs on one computer and the clinic software on another. Staff save the image, rename it, find the patient and attach it — or, more often, they stop doing it after a week. The X-ray is taken, but it is never in the patient's record when the doctor needs it.
What ORALZY does
| Need | In ORALZY |
|---|---|
| X-ray reaches the patient file | Imported automatically from the RVG/OPG computer through the ORALZY X-ray bridge for Windows |
| Standards | DICOM Worklist, VDDS-media and HL7 |
| Earlier X-rays | Images taken before setup can be matched to patients |
| Patient copy | X-rays and photos sent to the patient on WhatsApp |
| Paper reports and documents | Smart document scan from Wi-Fi scanners with a document feeder |
| Viewing | Open the X-ray from the patient file on web, Android or Windows |
Setting it up
- Tell the ORALZY team your sensor or OPG model during the trial.
- Install the ORALZY Windows app on the computer connected to the sensor.
- Take a test X-ray and check it appears in the patient's file.
X-ray integration is part of ORALZY's dental clinic software. See also WhatsApp for clinics.
