Facts below are from NABH's own FAQ for the Entry Level Dental Certification Programme, read on 24 October 2026. NABH changes its programmes; always confirm on nabh.co.

Steps
- Register the clinic on the NABH portal with a new email ID and choose "Entry level Dental Clinic" as the application type.
- Submit the application form, the documents below and the fee online (no cash or cheque; non-refundable).
- Final assessment — virtual for 1–4 chairs, onsite for 5–8 chairs.
- Close the non-compliances the assessor raises. There are two CAPA cycles, to be closed within 90 days.
- The certification committee takes the final decision. The certificate is valid for two years; apply for renewal at least 6 months before expiry.
Documents NABH asks for before the assessment
- Registration certificate as applicable in your state (for example Clinical Establishments Act or Shop and Establishment).
- State Pollution Control Board licence for bio-medical waste, and an MoU with the BMW collection agency.
- AERB licence for dental X-ray (or an MoU if radiology is outsourced).
- Fire NOC, or a third-party fire audit as per NABH fire safety guidelines.
- Scope of services and manpower sheet in NABH's format.
- Quality manual, policies and SOPs — with date of initiation, revision and signatures.
- Filled self-assessment toolkit, equipment checklist, and the forms and formats the clinic uses.
How ORALZY helps
- SOPs ready in the clinic's name, with version dates and signature blocks, printable chapter-wise as a book.
- 40+ NABH registers that fill from the day's work, covering all 10 chapters. See NABH registers.
- Bilingual posters for the clinic walls.
- Forms and formats — consent, case sheet, prescription and discharge — printed from the app with the doctor's signature and seal.
- Mock audit and audit bundle before the assessment.
ORALZY is built on the full Dental NABH standard (DHSP 3rd edition), not on the Entry Level toolkit: its readiness score uses the full standard's 1–5 scoring. Clinics starting at Entry Level use the same records and are already on track for full accreditation. See NABH software for dental clinics and the full accreditation checklist.
